While more forgiving than porcelain clay, W1A still gives you that bright white that makes your glazes really shine. Translucency can be achieved when building thin! This blend is highly plastic and ideal for wheel throwing and small scale handbuilding. Try our version of W1A with Molochite for a sturdier and less translucent clay body.

Grog

No

Color In Oxidation

White

Color In Reduction

White

Shrinkage

c/6/ox./ 12.50%

Absorbtion

c/6/ox./ 1.53%

The price shown is for the northeast United States (ME, NH, MA,RI, CT, VT, NY and NJ)
Please select "Zone B" if you are not in the Northeast

The price shown is free shipping for Northeast USA, (ME, NH,MA,RI,CT,VT,NY,NJ)

Add only $5 per 50 pound box for anywhere in the rest of the country including Alaska and Hawaii.

Please select "Zone B" if you are not in the Northeast

For less than 1000 pounds: we recommend that you use our highly discounted "Easy way to buy clay: Delivered prices/shipping included pricing"
click here: EASY WAY TO BUY CLAY | FREE SHIP / DELIVERED PRICING :
The delivered pricing at that link is going to be the most simple and economical way for most all clay orders up to 1000 pounds!

For orders over 1,000 pounds: give us a call 1-888-774-2529 for a quote on larger quantities which will need freight shipping which will save you even more!
Thanks!

NOTE: Helmar Kaolin is currently unavailable we’re substituting Edgar Plastic Kaolin (EPK) for this formula. Read More

https://www.sheffield-pottery.live/products/w-1a-moist-white-stoneware-pottery-clay-delivered-mcw1atxfs
